Alabama High School Football Historical Society - They have the scores for almost all games played in Alabama since the 1970 and some as early as the 1930's. Your can search for records by teams and coaches.

Alabama Ironworks Source Book -  Online reference guide maintained by the Alabama Historic Ironworks Commission. It includes information about Cornwall Furnace, Round Mountain Furnace, as well as other local furnaces. 

Alabama Register of Landmarks and Heritage - The Alabama Historical Commission's buildings, sites, structures, objects and districts worthy of preservation. The page has a link to a PDF form that has all the listings in the state broken down by county.  

AlGenWeb - A great online resource with an extensive collection of information relating to the history of Cherokee County and it's people.

TAG Railroad (Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia) article - Many people still remember the trestle that was in front of Yellow Creek Falls on this rail line.
